This morning I attended the community green event organised by Friends of Toton Fields at Toton nature reserve.
The initiative comes from our commitment to improving and enhancing Broxtowe’s green open spaces. The event saw residents, councillors and the Mayor planting bulbs and seeds and picking up litter, making the reserve cleaner, so more people can enjoy the open outdoors. I’d like to say thank you to all those involved. We’ll be organising a community litter pick in Chilwell Meadows in the new year, so look out for news coming your way!
