About Me

Hello and welcome to my page!

So, I suppose I should tell you a little bit about myself…

After growing up in Long Eaton and attending the local comprehensive school, I moved to Hull in East Riding, where I spent three years studying Law. After graduating in 2011, I did what many grads do – travel! I visited the Middle East and India and loved every minute of it, but I really missed my family, friends and the comforts that only home can provide, so I returned and started my working life in a contact center.

After a few short months, I left and joined Boots UK at their support office in Beeston, firstly working in recruitment and then marketing. I now work as an Account Manager at a design agency in Nottingham.

My interest in politics began at school, specifically during my time at Sixth Form, studying for my A-Levels and ever since it’s been an obsession of mine (sad, I know!) When my predecessor stood down, I could not miss the opportunity to get involved, so I put my name forward, was selected and was then elected by the people of Toton & Chilwell Meadows. Since then, I’ve worked on many things, ranging from installation of dog bins on Carrfield Avenue, speaking at planning committee on behalf of residents to working with the Chetwynd: The Toton & Chilwell Neighbourhood Forum on the proposed plans for the HS2 hub station – it’s been a very busy year!

As well as playing an active role in synagogue life, I like running, reading and travelling.

I hope that by creating this website, you’ll see the positives that can come from local community groups, residents and local councillors working together.

I sit on the following committees/working groups:

Jobs and Economy Committee: the committee is responsible for promoting inward investment into the borough, economic regeneration of our town centres (Beeston, Eastwood, Kimberley and Stapleford), and non council funded housing and the local plan. Next meeting is: 28th June at 7pm
